We have all seen the rows of worshipers on Fridays who are forced to pray on the street on Mawson road, come rain or shine. There is no doubt that we as a community have outgrown our current places of worship.

Cambridge needs a purpose built mosque.
This Ramadan, Channel S will be hosting a special LIVE APPEAL in order to fundraise for the Cambridge New Mosque Project. Our goal is simple:
One Night. One Million.
In order to achieve this goal we need to reach at least half of that by the night of the Live Appeal: the 21st night of Ramadan. This is where YOU come in. Before the 21st night we need:
40 people to commit to raising £5,000
100 people to commit to raising £2,000
200 people to commit to raising £1,000
All you have to do is pledge to raise money within one of these categories and we will help you with all the rest. Fundraising can be as simple as asking your local small businessmen to sponsor your cause or setting up a webpage (in three simple steps) linked automatically with the Cambridge New Mosque Project. We will be there to help you through every stage.
This Ramadan, show your support to the Cambridge New Mosque Project with your donations, pledges to fundraise, commitment to call on the 21st night of Ramadan and of course with your prayers for our success as we endeavor to achieve this goal. Together, God Willing, we can make the first purpose built in Cambridge a reality.
